“You guys dug up my waterline on Fitzwilliam St. today. Tonight when I returned home from work I had a look at the job. Good work! The driveway you had to dig up looks great. You were here when you said you would be. You got the job done. The price was reasonable. I will have no hesitation recommending you to friends or calling you back if I need your services again.”

FAQ

Questions about septic system installation & design

What does a septic system cost in Nanaimo?
There is no flat price. Cost is driven by the system type, your soil and perc results, the size of the home, excavation depth, and on-site access. We give an itemized estimate after a free site visit.
What is a perc test and do I need one?
A percolation and soil/site assessment measures how your ground drains, and it determines the system type and drain-field size. It is required before any new install or full replacement, and we coordinate it for you.
What permits and regulations apply to a septic system in BC?
Onsite systems are governed by the provincial Sewerage System Regulation. The design must be filed by a ROWP or engineer and registered with the health authority. We work directly with ROWPs and engineers and coordinate the inspections.
What are the signs my septic system needs replacing?
Slow or backing-up drains, odours, soggy or unusually green spots over the field, gurgling plumbing, or effluent surfacing in the yard. If you are seeing any of these, book a site assessment.
What types of septic systems do you install?
Conventional gravity-fed, pressure distribution, advanced treatment (ATS), mound, sand filter, and chamber systems. The right one is set by the site evaluation and design.
Do you serve rural and acreage properties?
Yes. Most of our septic work is rural, across Nanaimo, Cedar, Lantzville, Ladysmith, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Duncan, and the surrounding area.
